Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based customer orders, production capacity and inventory levels to ensure-on-time delivery
Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align planning with real-time operations and resolve discrepancies
Leverage the technical background to streamline planning workflows using Excel macros, or scripting to automate reports and alerts
Learn and operate ERP/MRP software to maintain accurate data for production and inventory planning
Support implementation of beginner-level AI or ML tools for demand forecasting, scheduling optimization, and data analysis
Analyze historical production and inventory data to generate insightful reports for planning and decision-making
Use spreadsheet modeling or simple Python scripts to simulate plan changes and understand their impact
Contribute to lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and planning process improvements
Track stock levels and reorder points to support just-in-time (JIT) principles and avoid material shortages
Participate in training related to smart manufacturing, planning systems, and AI integration in operations
Job Requirements
Degree's in Computer Engineering, Technology Management, Engineering, or equivalent
With 1 - 2 years of experience in production control or planning is an added advantage
Understanding the production operations in the automation industry is an added advantage
Experience in inventory control or spare parts replenishment
Demonstrated excellent planning and scheduling skills
Strong growth mindset
